VN Services’ Annual Renewal 2018

Tuesday, May 29th, 2018

We held our annual off-site renewal for 2018 on February 8 and 9.  Afterwards we checked out the Rock Hall of Fame and had a delicious lunch at Nuevo modern Mexican Restaurant, on East 9th Street in Cleveland.  We had just finished doing the scheduling work on the project!

Renewal 2016  Every business gets caught up in the constant frenetic state of focusing on day-to-day challenges, meeting deadlines and finding yourself not moving forward on the goals that you have set for individuals and the company at large.

VN Services recognizes that it is essential to stop the daily hustle and take the time to regroup for the overall mental and financial health of our company.

So each year, we leave the office for 2 days and assess the past year, set personal and company goals (with an action plan) and then spend an afternoon doing something relaxing and fun.

Each year our renewal becomes more valuable, and our commitment to following through becomes a more natural part of our work activities.

We highly recommend that all businesses make this an important part of your year.

VN Services holds its 2014 Company Renewal

Friday, March 14th, 2014

We held our annual company renewal on February 27 and 28 at The Club at Hillbrook.  Every year we travel off-site and review the previous year’s goals, accomplishments and LTOs.  Then we use basic project management skills and CPM (Critical Path Method) scheduling to create measurable individual and company goals for the year forward.  Because the schedule has proven to be a highly useful management tool, we revisit it regularly to ensure that we are on target to achieve our goals.

Of course, we also need some R&R, so we spend the second afternoon doing something that is fun and entertaining.   We had a delicious lunch at The Harley Cafe at South East Harley-Davidson (no motorcycles were purchased at the time).  We followed lunch with bowling at the Freeway Lanes, where we all let Richard and Bob win!
