Robert L. Vail

President & CEO

Robert Vail is recognized as one of the industry's leading experts in all phases of commercial construction planning, management and control, with more than 37 years and over 800 projects in his experience.

Mr. Vail's extensive industry experience includes projects located in 26 states, Canada and most recently, Iraq. His expertise has expanded to include a unique understanding of the growing global construction market and the challenges and opportunities associated with commercial and industrial development worldwide. He has developed numerous effective tools for increasing control of projects and reducing the potential for delays and cost overruns that regularly confront the construction field. Mr. Vail believes it is crucial to enable owners and contractors to improve their productivity, quality, job-site safety and on-time performance so that projects can become more profitable.

Mr. Vail has been called upon to testify as an expert witness and is an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association where he has served on the Construction Advisory Council and Construction Panel of Arbitrators since 1985.

Mark Tucker Elliot

Principal & Vice President: Project Delay & Cost Analysis

Mr. Elliott has built an exceptional level of professional expertise over his 30 year career, working on more than 170 projects in 21 states and 6 countries. His practice is centered on helping clients to resolve delay and disruption related disputes, both domestically and internationally. His skills have been called upon in a wide range of industries for projects varying in complexity and budget, including power & alternative energy, environmental, military, automotive, manufacturing, metals, chemicals, petroleum, educational, transportation, health care, office buildings and hospitality. His clients include contractors, subcontractors, attorneys, local and federal governments, and regulatory authorities.

Mr. Elliott brings to his specialty a deep grounding in 'dirty boots' real world project management experience honed over the last 30 years. As a member of the VN senior management team, he acts as an internal consultant on complex project management issues and has been instrumental in developing VN's growth outside of North America, which includes forensic delay analysis on multiple projects in Iraq. He is proud to be overseeing the work of VN International's owner's representative services on the new $100 million Shams Rotana Luxury hotel in Baghdad, Iraq.

Richard P. Leach

Principal & Vice President: Project Controls & Support

Mr. Leach is highly regarded as a senior advisor and problem-solving facilitator with more than 31 years and 340 projects of broad-based experience in the construction industry. He has unique 'on the ground' real world experience in a wide range of projects ranging from $100,000 to $1.5 billion.

Mr. Leach's diverse experience includes projects located all over the U.S. and Canada, and most recently in Iraq. Projects he has been involved with have included those in the industrial sector, steel, automotive, waste water treatment, pharmaceutical, hospitals/health care, educational facilities, stadiums and arenas, office and commercial buildings, hotels, restaurants, municipal planning, residential developments, and housing. His involvement in such a broad range of projects gives him a keen and insightful understanding of different client's operational and strategic needs and priorities.

Mr. Leach was hand-picked in 2007 to be the Senior Scheduling Consultant for the structural concrete at the new One World Trade Center Tower currently under construction in New York City.
