Bob and Lynn Vail attended The Gow School’s Annual Alumni Dinner on October 15, 2011,where Bob was recognized as Gow’s 2011 Distinguished Alumnus winner.
Bob graduated from Gow, a college preparatory school for boys with dyslexia and similar language based learning disabilities, in 1968 and has served as a member of Gow’s Board of Trustees since 2005.
He currently serves on the Executive Committee and is Chair of the Campus Planning / Building and Grounds Committee . Under Bob’s leadership, Gow has recently created a long-range campus and facilities plan.
